What are my options for lenses?
There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.
- Transition lenses – These lenses are made of dynamic materials that automatically adjust to the level of surrounding light. They help block UV rays and are a great backup to prescription sunglasses. Available now in 8 vibrant colors, Transitions® GEN S™ sets a new standard for pushing the boundaries of traditional eyeglass lenses. Learn More: www.Transitions.com
- CRIZAL Anti-Glare/scratch – The best anti-reflective coating overall*. Crizal® Sapphire ™ HR is answering all of eyeglass wearers’ main concerns by shielding the eyes and the lenses against reflections, scratching, smudging, and UV Light for long lasting transparency and protection.
- Polarized Sunglasses – Essilor® Xperio® UV™ Polarized Lenses are high-performance sun lenses that eliminate 100% of blinding glare, enhance color, and improve contrast sensitivity by up to 75%. They offer maximum UV protection (E-SPF® 50+) and are highly scratch-resistant, making them ideal for driving, sports, and, notably, reducing eye fatigue in bright conditions.
- Polycarbonate lenses – Lightweight, highly durable, and shatter-resistant plastic lenses designed for safety and active lifestyles, offering 100% UV protection and 30% less weight than standard plastic.
- Thinner lenses – High-index lenses are thinner and more aesthetically pleasing lenses designed for moderate to high prescriptions.
Need a prescription?
We do that too! Avery Eye Care Center offers comprehensive eye exams at our Saint Johns offices. In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will examine your eye health and function.
