Dr. Edward Peters
Dr. Edward Peters has been helping patients see their best and live healthier lives for nearly four decades. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1986, he began a career dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and improving the overall well-being of his patients.
Since 1988, Dr. Peters has served as President and Partner of Avery Eye Care Center in Saint Johns, where he has built lasting relationships with generations of families throughout the community. He is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association.
What sets Dr. Peters apart is his passion for helping patients beyond their vision needs. He believes that good health starts with education and is committed to sharing his knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and healthy living to help patients improve their quality of life and reach their full potential.
Outside the office, Dr. Peters enjoys golfing, exercising, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Sara, have called Saint Johns home for many years. They are proud parents of two sons, Eddie and Zach, who have followed in their father’s footsteps and are now partners at Avery Eye Care Center. Dr. Peters also enjoys spending time with his daughters-in-law, Abby and Bre, and his grandchildren.
Dr. Peters remains committed to providing compassionate, personalized care while continuing his mission of supporting and transforming the lives of those he serves.
