Dr. Eddie Peters

O.D.

Dr. Eddie Peters received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in May of 2018. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA). Dr. Eddie has trained using some of the most recent advancements in the field, including new imaging technology and leading-edge specialty contact lenses. Completing training in Pediatric Optometry, Dr. Eddie is very comfortable with patients presenting for their very first eye exam, as well as with our longstanding patients.

Dr. Eddie and his wife, Abby, married in 2020 and live just outside St. Johns. Together they have one daughter, Daisy, who was born in 2023. Dr. Eddie is an active board member on the Saint Johns Area Community Fund Board of Directors. Outside of helping his patients at the office, he enjoys helping the Saint Johns area community by serving on the board and continuing to grow our wonderful community.

On the personal side Dr. Eddie enjoys playing golf with his brother (Dr. Zach) and his dad (Dr. Peters), playing cards such as euchre and cribbage, supporting our Michigan-based sports teams, spending time with his dog, Olive, and seeing family and friends as much as possible. Dr. Eddie is very proud to be a part of Avery Eye Care Center and is looking forward to helping our patients for many years to come.

Dr. Eddie and all staff are amazing. I’ve lived in Florida for 4 years and come back to Michigan once a year to see them, as my trust level is so high with their office. I would recommend you check them out. I lived in the Greater Lansing area for 32 years before moving to Florida and drove 25 minutes to visit Dr. Eddie and his father too. Very efficient and love my glasses!

Dr. Eddie took my concerns of a possible eye injury seriously, calling me back
on a Sunday afternoon after | left a message. He went over symptoms,
reassured my concerns, and insisted | come to the office the following day to be sure all was well. (& this was a Dr. | didn't know yet. | usually see his
brother, Dr. Zachary- also very kind.) | appreciated the time everyone took-
from reception to Dr. Eddie- to get me taken care of quickly and
professionally. You'll be glad you came!
