Dr. Zach Peters
Dr. Zach Peters grew up in Saint Johns and attended St. Johns High School. Following his time as a Redwing, he attended Ferris State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then went on to obtain his doctorate from the Michigan College of Optometry. Throughout his studies, he gained experience both in the classroom and in the exam room, learning about the latest research and technology in eye care.
Dr. Zach trained at the Wyoming VA Medical Clinic, where he diagnosed and managed a variety of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. He practices full-scope optometry and has training in binocular vision disorders and contact lenses. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association.
Outside of discussing optometry with his dad and brother, Dr. Zach enjoys playing golf, hunting whitetail, and a good game of cribbage. He lives locally with his wife, Bre, and their English chocolate Labrador, Jaws.
Dr. Zach has interests in binocular vision disorders, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and custom or unique glasses and sunglasses.
Doc. Zach is so nice. He takes the time needed to make you feel comfortable and answer questions. Seen him for a few years now and his demeanor is always pleasantly the same. The folks in the office are also friendly from the time | walk in to walking out. Can’t imagine going anywhere else.
