Andrea Thurston

Andrea has been working at Avery Eye Care Center since July 2018 and has been in the Ophthalmology / Optometry industry for 28+ years.

Andrea graduated from high school and went directly into the Air Force. Out of the Air Force, she started working for an Ophthalmologist as a surgical scrub for LASIK. She has assisted with operating on over 60,000 eyes in her surgical career. She loves her job because of the constant daily challenges and relationships developed with patients, doctors, and staff. No matter how long she has been in the business, there is always something new to learn.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog Violet. She enjoys baking, camping, doing calligraphy, and reading anything written by Stephen King.
